This artwork depicts Lilith, one of the Five Heresiarchs (five Elder Gods of Hell) from my Doom fanfic "Day of Wrath."
Lilith represents the depravity of Hell. The vice, indulgence, and hedonism. Infinite pleasure, infinite pain.
Lilith has considerable reach across Hell, her followers driven by greed, gluttony, and bottomless self-indulgence.
The idea behind the Heresiarchs is that they're as much victims and prisoners of the sins they manifest, and Lilith is no exception. Her body is clutched by grasping hands, and her skin bears deep lacerations.
