This artwork depicts Sheol, one of the Five Heresiarchs (five Elder Gods of Hell) from my Doom fanfic "Day of Wrath."
Sheol represents the darkness and despair of Hell. Its desolation, hopelessness, and misery.
A reclusive Heresiarch with few followers in Hell or elsewhere, Sheol was the one who brought the power of the Void within Hell's reach, and her forces wield this darkness in the service of Hell, though with much aversion from other demons and even the other Heresiarchs.
