This skin is based on the look and presentation of the iconic Grim Reaper, though it's also meant to have some resemblance to the Angel of Death.
Doomguy's armor is a black version of the Maykr suit, and he wields a Crucible scythe similar to the one depicted in early Doom 2016 concept art.
