This is an older version of my Doom/Avatar AU concept I came up a while ago, which you can find here:

Wasn't super happy with how it came out so I commissioned the newer version, but thought I might as well share this one too.

Premise is the same as the current Avatar of Doom: Korra got yeeted by Kuvira off this mortal coil, being useful for once and handing the Avatar's power to someone actually competent.
The armor is anti-spirit cold iron, the Doomblade is meteor metal, Avatar Doomguy started off as a metalbending soldier in Kuvira's army, yada yada.
