This artwork depicts a Mannequin, an original type of synthetic bioandroid I came up with for my Doom fanfic "Day of Wrath," analogous to the androids in Alien, the replicants in Blade Runner, and especially the Replikas in Signalis.
Mannequins are uncanny and plastic imitations of humanity, organic bioandroids grown from synthetic fungal tissue.
